Event Details

The Our Public Service team is excited to host their next online network event on sustainability and green initiatives.

To learn more on this topic, they welcome a panel of experts working in the area:

  • Joe Reilly, Programme Officer at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA is responsible for protecting and improving the environment as a valuable asset for the people of Ireland. He will provide an overview of the organisation’s Green Enterprise annual circular economy innovation funding programme, featuring details of the programme and an overview of past and present research projects.
  • Eddie Conroy, County Architect in South Dublin County Council, works in the area of housing, public buildings, energy/sustainability, urban-design and planning. He will discuss the history and background of the Tallaght District Heating and differing areas of innovation across this period.
  • Aisling Folan, Creative Reuse Director from ReCreate. ReCreate is a social enterprise and registered charity making art materials and educational supplies accessible and affordable to every sector of the community for all kinds of creative processes. She will present on some of the organisation’s key initiatives.
